Mooriel is the piece that truly established the visual identity of Aldo Designs.
As the first fully realised cartoon style Highland cow in the collection, sparking the Moonificent 7 series. Mooriel introduced a new personality. With her unmistakable smile and character. This was also my first piece to feature a bold black background, which transformed the piece completely. What began as an experiment quickly became one of the defining characteristics of future Aldo designs originals.
Looking back Mooriel marks the point where experimentation became identity.
