Welcome to my portfolio, a growing collection of original handcrafted artworks inspired by Scotland`s landscapes, wildlife, heritage & humour. Created from reclaimed timber, each piece is individually drawn, cut, carved, sanded & finished by hand. No two artworks are ever the same, with the natural character of the wood becoming an essential part of every design. Most of the pieces you`ll find here now live in private collections from Scotland to America. Although they have found their homes, their stories continue here as part of the Aldo Designs archive. From the first Highland cow, Derry, to collections now inspired by recent events, every artwork represents another chapter in my journey as an artist.
