Fudge

A reminder that art (art me) don`t always have to take things so seriously.
Following the warm reception from Toffee, I wanted to explore something completely different. Rather than creating a traditional highland cow, I began experimenting in a more playful, cartoon inspired style that celebrated the character of Scotlands most recognisable animal. The exaggerated expression and unmistakable tongue give Fudge a personality all of his own.
Sometimes creating something that simply makes people smile is enough.
Fudge was the first work where i felt I wasn`t just creating another carving, I was creating character.
