As the second artwork in the Knockderry Collection, Brodick marked an important step in my journey as an artist.
After completing Derry, I found myself asking a simple question;
What if I pushed this idea further ?
The answer came in Brodick.
Constructed of 244 individual pieces of oak, it remains one of the most intricate artworks i`ve created. Despite the complexity the one thing I love about Brodick is his sense of calm.
Looking back Brodick wasn`t just another artwork. It was the piece that taught me patience. As part of the Knockderry Collection, Brodick found its home within a project that played a pivotal role in the early story of Aldo Designs.
