Hello, I’m Aldo — a craftsman with over 30 years’ experience in carpentry and furniture design, now dedicated to creating one of a kind reclaimed wood portraits. My work brings new life to discarded timber, transforming it into detailed artworks that capture the spirit and character of each subject, especially my favourite, the Highland cow.

Every piece is made entirely by hand in my studio, where I spend around 40 hours carefully drawing, cutting, shaping, sanding and assembling each fragment of wood. It’s a slow and thoughtful process, but one I absolutely love. There’s nowhere I’d rather be than in my workshop, surrounded by wood, tools, and creativity, turning something old into something truly special.
